    • WILLIAM JACKSON of Horbling, Lincolnshire, was probably born about 1490-1500. His wife Agnes was probably nee Pickworth, as William Jackson in his will referred to his "brother" Richard Pickworth of Sleforth. William Jackson and one other made a list of the "harness of Horbling" which they took to Lincoln in 29 Henry VIII (1537/8). this was the town armoury and locals were taxead towards its upkeep. William Jackson paid 8 pence. William was an Alderman of Horbling in 1538 and 1540. He died in early May 1549 within a few days of making his will. Agnes died probably in late 1571.
