    was successfully operated on for cervical cancer, and she would be a cancer survivor for almost 20 years.

    although her birth certificate was recorded incorrectly as 21 May, she never had it corrected.

    She and Frank lived at this home until their deaths in 2000.

    Died:
    she developed lung cancer, which had earlier been misdiagnosed as emphazema (sp ?). An operation was performed in June of 1999, but by then it was too late, so she started chemotherapy which was very debilitating on her quality of life.

    trained in Calgary, however never shipped overseas, while his brother Frank was shipped to England. One note in his file at the PPCLI office (then in Calgary) stated he was in the Brig for drinking and poor conduct, which may have been the reason he never had to go to England with his brother.
