Last Friday evening died at Charlestown, Mr. Samuel Larkin, age 83 years. From Newspaper dated 1784-10-14; Paper: Continental Journal. From GenealogyBank.com Sept 2011. This is a Thursday, so either refers to yesterday, or a week ago which seems more likely due to publication delays. This may be the grandfather of Samuel who was born c1749. It is known that there is a son named John and another named Ebenezer for this Samuel who died in 1784. [just search google for their names].
