Found on Hayes Gray Tree on Ancestry.com thare is a grandson John with Rooth as middle name thus suggesting Ann Rooth as correct wife. Census evidence would support Booth, not Rooth. While a this John exists, no evidence supporth the middle name. June 2011.

Shows ties between brothers John, William, Joseph & Thomas Cocking. [although it may be that there is an extra generation needed to rectify the members, since a Joseph married Sarah Warrener in 1772 which appears to be too late for this Joseph, unless he married late in life. Will leave as is for now though. June 2011]
