6057 It is very possible that this Thomas Cocking is not the one who married Sarah Stourton. Michael Read (2011) suggests the Thomas who married Sarah was born c1753 in Tealby, the son of Thomas & Mary. He also is suggesting that his Thomas also married Mary Tinclar of Tealby and Ann Bratley of Grimoldsby. He said the signatures looked the same. COCKING, Thomas (I6912)

6058 It was assumed that the John Ward who died in 1829 is a brother to William & Uncle to Sylvanus Ward of Saffron Walden, and not the father of William. 6096 Joseph is not likely the son of Warren & Grace, as that one was a shoemaker, wheras our Joseph was a blacksmith. It is strange that Warren is not our Joseph's father since his son was named George Warren. Maybe the shoemaker occupation mentioned above was incorrect. [Feb 2011 research on NEHGS web shows a family of Warren & Grace Pool having a son Joseph W. in 1810 in Weymouth, and that son married Rachel Blanchard in 1837 in Weymouth, and then in 1843 Warren Jr. aka Joseph died in Weymouth. This would say the Warren & Grace Pool are not our family line.] POOLE, Joseph W. (I53)
