    • History of Henry County, IL: John Troyer and his family came here from Canada in 1851. He entered the SW quarter of Section 29, and built a log house and opened the farm, and made that his home until he died. He was born September 22, 1809 and died December 15, 1881. Son of Mary Holly and Michael Troyer of Canada. Known children: John Carlos; Lewis; Carlos Hewit; Hannah Elizabeth(Nelson H.
