    • A possible set of parents could be Benjamin Vessey who married Elizabeth Skelton on 25 Dec 1755 in Marnham, Notts.[LDS films 462987, 503792, 504076]. Jan 2012. Another set [or could be same couple] could be the couple in Sutton upon Trent, Notts, Benjamin & Elizabeth Vesse, who have children Mildred, Mary, Ann, John, William, Charles, & Benjamin who is christened in 1 Jan, 1758. [suggested by Anne Welburn from LFHS]. Mar 2012.
    • All three places, Marnham, Sutton on Trent, and Besthorpe [South Scarle] are within 15 miles of each other, supporting reasoning that they are the same family. Mar 2012.
